 JDM shifter base different to USDM, cant move the pins? |

I'm reading the TWM instructions posted in Batman's 7th gen shifter install thread, I found them here.
Anyways I have a spare shifter base so I thought I might try my hands at removing the stick but I cant get the pins to budge, and judging by whats in those instructions, mine looks different to the USDM one...

So did you end up getting the 7th gen kit to work? The Aussie bases are the same as JDM. I have the kit, but haven't tried fitting it yet.
