So when I get to around 1/4 tank the gauge commits suicide and rapidly shoots down to E even though I know I have about 3 gallons left. Anyone else have this issue?

its normal for gas gauges to do that, there is a thing that floats in the tank, and that says how much gas is left, so its not completely accurate. especially since the tank isnt a perfect rectangle, there is curves and grooves. the gauge is there to give you a rough estimate on your gas level, that's why i go with how many miles i have on the current tank, i can figure it out from there. biggrin.gif
