Brand new Celica owner, have a few quick questions..
1. I bought the car for less than 3k. previous owner dropped a 2.0 block in it from a 2000 Camry(sad right?) what is going to be my price range of getting a 2.2(or better) back in it? 2. are engine swaps really as awful as I've heard on these things? 3. whats a good sounding(not ricer) exhaust for these babies? I owned a 87 Porsche 944 before this, and have thought this'll be alittle easier to work on. I'm hoping thats accurate. Thanks for the help in advance! |

Wow you were quick man! thanks.
And I wanted to swap the whole engine. and have a friend who has a shop and everything I'd need to do so. I've heard they're a pain in the butt! from a few different people, online and off. I was assuming it'd be a 2.25, but I wasn't assuming it'd be custom? |
