 stupid question but i need to know, confused |

so i have a 5speed 1996 toyota celica hatchback, and i took out the pannels to paint (vents,switches ect.) i noticed that on the driver side vent theres a place for a switch. mines does not have the switch its just looks like there should be one there like i coudl pop out the plastic and put one there. what option does my car not have? this is killing me haha thanks.

He's talking about the switch on the driver's side vent.
This is the switch you're asking about:
