So, today, i took the celi to th mechanic. Ive had a oil leak.. need to know where its coming from. They hoist it up, n tell me it good be various things. Apperently they think its my head gasket...

No the timing belt cover gasket is just their to keep dirt from entering and contaminating the timing belt, timing chains on the other hand yes but the 5sfe uses a belt not a chain. From what your describing it sounds like it's leaking from the crank seal, depending on how long you plan on keeping the motor or car you should replace the t-belt, water pump, crank seal, cam seal and idler pullies as well better to do it while you have everything apart I recommend OEM Toyota parts.
