We know the St205 is full time AWD, would having two different sets of tires harm the transmission in any way? It came originally with 215 50 16 but those tires are not available here so I took 205 50 16, so obviously they are slightly narrower and a little lower, but enough to realise, will the viscous center diff handle this? or will this cause a something to wear out??

the GT4 drivetrain is freakinnn tough!!

i wouldnt run different sizes though, im sure you'll get away with it for now, make sure the bigger ones are on the rear. you'll probably find the bigger tyres will scrub off down to size really quickly, but dont keep doing this. you will end up f**king the centre diff

Well currently the bigger ones are infront, I figured they would wear faster infront, I'm pretty much driving like a granny right now also, to avoid issues, there are no 215 50 16's in my country so I had no choice, and I haven't been rotating my tires so the front went and left the back with all the grip, they look untouched. The thought of buying 2 other tires just to match is painful right now. frown.gif
