Summer is almost here and I am looking to buy a portable AC for my room. I'd like to know some input from people to who owns one. Thanks

You mean like a window unit? I just installed a new window AC unit about 3 weeks ago to replace an older unit that we had. It's a 25,000 BTU GE that I bought online from Sam's Club for $390. So far I LOVE the new one! It's powerful enough to cool my whole basement in this Georgia heat. The only down sides were: 1. we had to have an electrician install a 240v outlet(Like the kind your washer and dryer plug into) and 2. It was a B!TCH to install by myself. Other than that I could not be happier!
