I was just taking a gander at the article on installing coilover/springs and a question arose in my mind. If I want to lower my car about 1"-2" which would be my best option? Go with the coilover kit, or use lowering springs. I want to do this in the next couple of months and I would really apreciate some input. Thanks

not to mention grounc controls have a worse ride due to a diff spring/spring rate as well as make notorious "popping noises".

Worse ride or better handling? We all have our opinions. My spring rates are over 50% higher than what GC 'recommends' to the average joe buying coilovers to lower their car (probably the springs that most of you have). The car isn't bad on the highway, but kinda sucks around the ****ty roads of dallas. But man does it turn. It pulls over 1g on street tires.

The popping noises are fixable.

True, they're not for everybody, but they have their advantages.

oh i completyl agree with you!

the pop is fixable, but it requires maintence every 3 months like we disucssed and thats not practical for me. all and all they arent practical for ME! as my every day daily driver.

I loved the way they handle though!
