We know the St205 is full time AWD, would having two different sets of tires harm the transmission in any way? It came originally with 215 50 16 but those tires are not available here so I took 205 50 16, so obviously they are slightly narrower and a little lower, but enough to realise, will the viscous center diff handle this? or will this cause a something to wear out??

the damage isn't worth it IMO. If it were me I would find a cheap matching set of pretty much anything just so that all 4 are the same size...then worry about finding 4 of the size you really want
