I WAS WONDERING IF ANY ONE ON HERE HAS DONE A ENGINE SWAP FROM A 7AFE ENGINE TO A 3SGTE ENGINE I KNOW IT IS A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF WORK BUT I HAVE THE ECU HARNESS AND THE TRANSMISSION AS WELL BUT MY QUESTION IS WILL THE TRANSMISSION BOLT UP TO THE FWD OR IS THERE QUITE A NUMBER OF OTHER MODIFICATIONS I NEED TO MAKE IN THIS 6 GENERATION CELICA 1995

Read this:
http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=28825 The GT manual transmission(s54) will bolt up to the 3sgte, the 7afes tranny (c52) will not work with the 3sgte.Because you have a ST there are a bunch of things you need to change. just search around as there are tons of threads around. Make sure to put a thread up, or better yet edit and fix this thread, when you start! |
