(Kirk's Inserts Thread link)

I got the inserts and put them on the new motor mounts I got OEM from Toyota.

The rear inserts looks great cause they lay flush with the bolt hole! (see pictures)
But I fear for the front motor mount with the inserts cause it seems to put up about 1/3 inch higher then the bolt hole itself on the mount...

Is this something I should be concerned about? Or is this just room for the "settling shaking" everyone was talking about on the Kirk Insert buy thread? Everyone claimed to have crazy shaking for the first two weeks or so until the inserts settled in. Or should I grind the front inserts down some?

And yes, in case you ask, I did cut out the extra thin rubber in the middle of the motor mounts since they were new.

Rear motor mount with inserts, fits nicely!

Front motor mount with inserts...not to sure ;(

I know it looks like that but I don't. It's new mounts so the rubber has a little bit extra sticking out at the top.

I may try and trim it off. It's only the front mount though, I think i'll leave it be and if it's really bad I can just take it back out and shave it down. front mount is an easy job wink.gif

thanks for your input guys
