Okay i have a 1997 celica ST (AT200) 1.8L and its stock everything. Im commited to eventually putting in a ST205 3S-GTE motor but im pretty sure i need a new tranny from a GT-4 model. Is this the E154F tranny? and also, what would be the first steps to getting to my goal? Exhaust? if so, what model because I need alot of help but am commited to getting this done. Thanks

You can't use the 4wd tranny, you need either an mr2 tranny or a v6 camry tranny.
You will also need to change your motor mounts. I would upgrade the brakes 1st, then I would go for the suspention. After that you can think about doing the swap and the exhaust at the same time. |
