I know the topic of Electric turbos has been raised (or maybe it was on another forum-not sure) but this came up in the GT4 list.
electric supercharger kit This is supposed to be really working. I would like some more input from the knowledgable members of this list. Will this thing work as they say? Any volunteers? |

Yeah, thats the thing people don't get....Its totally possible to make an electric supercharger work and provide hp gains, but with current technology its not feasible. Whats the point when its $2k, you can only use it for 15sec and you have to carry around 100lbs+ of batteries?????
Give it a decade or so and perhaps the battery and motor industries will have a few more capabilities but its still not going to be a full time, 100% duty cycle thing. |
