I'm in the process of installing MS to a 7AFTE..first dose anyone one know anyone thats done this? i dont wanna reinvent the wheel. second, what type of IAC dose the 7afe have?step motor?

It should be a PWM valve, if there are no different IAC valves used in the 7A-FE. I've tried hard to find out more about it, especially the working frequency. This is what i found:

strength between the two magnetic fields determines the position of the
valve. The frequency is very high, 250Hz. This high frequency helps the
valve maintain the correct position for proper air flow.
