I just got a Pioneer Premier DEH-P770MP(Very Nice)
There's a bunch of colorful wires with tags on it. Battery, Antenna, etc. Are they colormatched to the factory wires? Because I have the tags on the new wires but I don't know what wires to hook them up to. And what do I use to make the connection between the two wires. I've seen little caps used to connect the cables but im not sure what theyre called. thanks. -------------------- ![]() |

UPDATE:
Circuit city thought it was a good idea to get rid of the black part of the harness that goes from the stock OEM amp to the stereo and pull out the wide plug out of the amp.... then take that plug, clip half the wires, and splice the stereo in. I only found this out after talking EXTENSIVELY to the guy in the best buy car audio dept. SO, i'm missing part of the harness and I'm still not sure if I got the right harness because he had two harnesses. One of the harnesses is for a stock system, and one for a JBL system. I have three plugs in the amp and am still not sure which one I have. Any ideas or extra commentary would be appreciated. -------------------- ![]() |
