Wasn't sure where exactly to put this thread so it's going here.
![]() My rear washer jet isn't working I've traced it back to the engine bay but I don't know how to get to the washer bottle. I know it's a noob question but it is my first car I've had to work on. ![]() I do know where the bottle is but do I have to get at it from below? The pump is easier to access from the passenger wheel well cover.
Jack the front end up, locate the screws to move the front part of the wheel well cover down, take the tire off, move it down, and have someone test run the pump with you next to it to see if it's moving anything through the hose. If nothing is moving, the part costs like $40 at a dealer. MAKE SURE IT'S FOR THE LIFTBACK WITH REAR SPRAYER! I had to return two pumps because they didn't listen when I told them, "ST204 GT-S liftback" and ended up getting the run around. Luckily they like my boss and they helped me out, but still... it was a pain in the ass.... especially because the whole pump shut down in the winter time.... right when you need it the most. -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles.
