first off sorry if this is a repost. i put my 2nd 3sgte back together tonight. went to start it and found that it doesn't hold an idle. if i give it gas every thing is fine, but when i let off the pedal idle falls and eventually the car dies.
eliminated the neutral safety switch as well as boost/vacuum leaks as being the problem. not a fuel issue, or battery concern either! i have two or three grounds in the engine bay. wanna say it's the air flow sensor. any suggestions, or advice is appreciated! ok so i got a different afm on the car. seemed to have helped, but the car eventually dies still. looking into the iac valve/ throttle position sensor. what kinda current should this have to assure that it is good? It sounds like you have a loose coupler or some type of air leak in the system. Did you recently disconnect any vac lines or intercooler piping? The 2nd gen is very sensitive to these things and will not idle if there is an air leak somewhere. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
