So recently I had sold my 6gc(july 21) and bought myself a Miata(July 22). It's an absolute thrill to drive and I just can't get enough of it's handling capabilities. I've thought of getting one for a while, and my brother recently bought one a few weeks ago. After driving his around I had to get myself one as well. So anyway, here's some pictures of my Miata. It's a 2000 Purple(Mahogany Mica) Special edition 6spd Mazda Miata. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! The british green one is my brother's.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's pretty much stock besides the Enkei RP02's and the Hard Dog Roll Bar. UPDATE/EDIT: How she currently sits as of February 1, 2012. Got coils installed on January 28, 2012 ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by sunwukongg: Feb 1, 2012 - 3:52 PM |

whats the difference in suspension geometry between the 1st gen and 2nd gen?? Both use double wishbones, shocks and springs, as far as I'm aware. Nice Miata Neil. ![]() Look into Raceland coilovers. Opinions are mixed, but some say they're quality. I'd give them a chance. http://racelandus.com/p-67-coilover-kit-fo...da-mx-5-nb.aspx yea im not sure about the racelands..ive heard negative things about it as well as positive. basically it's fine for dd but not something you wanna take for canyon runs Mine is on Racelands, and I gotta say for a dirt cheap set of coilovers they really aren't bad. A hell of a lot better than blown out stock suspension. I like them better than the Tokico Blue setup I had on my 1st NA. I do plan on replacing them in a year or 2 when the car is going to go from DD to weekend warrior, but the whole car will be under the knife at that point for some big updates. Obviously if you want to do some serious track racing or something then go with Tein, or at least Megan. But if your car is 90% DD with the occasional weekend romp they're great. Oh and yes I just joined clubroadster, they haven't even unlocked my account to start posting yet. Also on miata.net. brianf408 on both. Yours has the 6 speed, so it also has the Torsen LSD in the rear right? If not, I'd recommend looking into a Torsen diff for your car, I literally can't get mine to break traction in a corner. I'll punch it thinking the back end will break loose and it just grips more and more. My open-diff 91 couldn't hold a candle to it. -------------------- 1999 Celica GT
