3rd and 4th, need speed in high gears... Options

well.. my 95' celica gt is completely stock.. i have absolutely no mods yet.. ive raced it a few times.. and when i get beat.. ive always gotten taken in 3rd and 4th gears.. i cant seem to get any acceleration past 1s and 2nd.. i was wondering what beggining/basic mods would i need to increase acceleration in my higher gears.. thnx for the help..

yeah.. i agree... i still havent tried it.. but i duno if 6g (nonturbos) have enuff torque to start in 2nd.. im still goin to try it tho.. by the way.. thats weird how your ST has a better 2nd and 3rd.. cause my 3rd is so ****ty.. so is fourth.. my only gears are 1 and 2... anyway.. i still wanna try starting from 2nd.. ill tell yall how it goes.. thnx

Oops, I made an error in my initial post. I originally meant that there is no reason not to use first gear. If/When you do a second gear launch, make sure those rpms are up there, or its going to lag badly.
