I'm trying to replace my + battery cable on a 97 ST and I traced the cable back to the starter before it ran out of sight and I couldn't reach any further. Problem is it's behind the engine and I can't figure out if I should try to get to it from up top or jack the car up and go at it from the bottom. Both ways seem pretty cluttered to me. Any suggestions?

I have hardly any room to work when I'm under it. After about an hour of trying to loosen the bolt on the solenoid with one hand I'm half tempted to take the exhaust off just to have it out of my way. mad.gif

Any easier way of doing this?
