Im in the process of collecting parts to boost my 7afe, and had a question about the fuel system. I have read many different things about it, and was wondering if someone could provide me with the correct parts i will need to upgrade my fuel system. I plan on using the supra 7mge green top high impedance injectors and an st185 celica alltrac fuel pump. I have heard that using a 2bar map sensor from an mr2 turbo is the only other thing you need to run the larger injectors and i would like to know is if that is true?
Or do i need some type of piggy back fuel controller? I have an safc2 in my garage, but if all i need to do is run a 2bar map sensor for the ecu to adjust fuel delivery, that would make things a lot easier. And will i need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator or rising rate fuel pressure regulator, or will the oem one suffice? Your help is greatly appreciated! |

Since the ecu will advance timing, will the trick the mr2 guys do work on an obd2 ecu in our cars? The trick is to lower fuel pressure with an adjustable fpr and then add fuel with the safc. Doing it this way won't cause the ecu to advance timing. What do you guy think?
