We should have one more before Winter. Doesn't matter to me when it happens. I can do just about any weekend. Anybody else interested? We need to make it happen and we need a good turnout. Chris- you got it. The driver's seat has a couple of small tears in it and the rear seats are a little dry, but they're all yours.
Jordan- I have tried it. I just don't care for it. It feels so gutless until you get the lift going. I have to say, I haven't tried it with the 6 speed yet but the BEAMS pulls far harder than any of the 2ZZ's I've driven. The BEAMS produces 197 hp and 145 lb. ft. of torque. The 2ZZ is at 180 hp and 133 lb. ft. You can really feel the difference, despite the extra weight of the 6th gen and the cast iron block of the BEAMS vs. the aluminum block of the 2ZZ. The two motors are very closely related though. Several of the MR2 BEAMS guys are using a 2ZZ wiring harness and 2ZZ standalones.
