I know that our celicas use struts. These are on ebay KYB GR2 Shocks
I am looking for good quality suspension and I have read on here that KYB's are really good. My question is; Are these what I am looking for? I'm not sure because it says shocks and we use struts. Any help appreciated Jeremy |

you can replace the whole strut assembly or buy the strut refills. i replaced the whole thing it's a little easier, took 20 min. to do both (front), but i would recommend you replace the strut mounts also. the refills are cheaper, it is just the tube with the piston. the pack comes with a threaded washer that locks the tube inside the strut housing. you have to take the spring off like always, then the rubber boot, there is a nut on the top side. clamp the strut, not too tight, then use a pipe wrench to take the nut off (left hand thread) watch for the fluid that will pour out. take out all the washers and pieces from the housing. then pour the recommended cc of trans fluid into the housing, slip in the tube, then cap with the threaded nut. that's it. by the way 5cc's=1tsp. it's not hard either just takes a few min. longer, but it is cheaper. sorry for the long post. if you want to do this and need help, let me know.
