Im interested in a good used TRD Shortshifter, with (preferred) or without the leather shift knob.

7th Gen is an option, but I wouldn't compare it to the TRD assembly. TRD is the whole assembly and is a "quick shift kit" not just a shorter shifter..

I've had the TRD assembly for a couple years now and I loooove it.

The 7gc short shifter isn't just a shorter shifter. The section above the pivot point is shorter and the section below the pivot point is longer, completely changing the fulcrum point.

just did mine with ebay stuff and it's like night and day. I don't feel like I'm driving a truck anymore.
