I just bought a set of the jdm headlights, low projectors and clear highs;
One question though, what bulb goes in the low beams and how do I hook it up? -------------------- For Sale:OEM tail lights - make offer

that sticky is obsolete. I created an adapter that is plug n play and no permanent damage, and fully reversible by removing the adapter. This is what I sent to another member, since I get some questions about how I did my adapter. I've been meaning to take a pic of it for a very long time. I will one day... for now here it is.
The way I did it was i got a heavy duty harness for a 9006 bulb, this end will attach to your stock harness. Then you get an H1 harness from an auto parts store, technically you can use an H4 connector which i did cus they didnt have an H1 connecter. THe h4 only difference is you don't use the 3rd terminal. I spliced the H1 harness with the 9006 harness (not the stock one, from the heavy duty one). You'll notice which parts to splice cus one is for the bulb and one is for your stock 9006 harness. I used a butt connector to secure it. After that I used wire loom to cover the wires and electrical tape the ends to make it OEM-ish. There you have it, an OEM stock looking adapter that doesn't cause any permanent cutting of your factory. For the H1 bulb itself, you'll notice the bulb is somewhat loose meaning the HID bulb, so you use the HID plastic ring to make it tight. The H1 bulb and the HID H1 bulb is no difference besides you have to use that plastic spacer or anything you want to use and also instead the HID bulbs have wires instead of spades coming out directly from a regular bulb. Good luck This post has been edited by trdproven: Aug 17, 2011 - 4:43 PM -------------------- 94 Celica GT
