No Toyota Celica sold in the US ever came with an E153 5-speed. In fact as far as I know nowhere in the world. The 6th gen Celica (which is a 94) with a manual trans was the S54. The S54 trans is good but many with engine conversions like to modify a E153 from other cars such as a Mr2 or Solara and use them for a stronger transmission in a Celica. I have a complete S54 5-speed I am selling but Im not willing to take it apart for the input shaft. As long as your car has not been swapped around running a 3sgte or somesort, it has a factory s54 if it is a 5-speed.
Thank you. |
