I don't see what the trouble is.
the axle is in 2 parts. the inner and the outer. They bolt together. the inner goes inside the tranny and bolts to "the 1st CVs after the center bracket" the outer is the CV from that point to the end that goes into the hub. FYI the "center bracket" in your pic is the carrier bearing w/bracket. It clips to the carrier bolted to the bolck. For the e153 you need to use the MR2 turbo carrier and bolt that to the back of the st205 block, then the bearing clips into it and holds the axle in the tranny. Without it the pass side axle slides out of the tranny with nothing holding it in. ![]() A that is the "inner" (MR2 turbo, LSD depending) B that is the "outer" NOT FROM AN st205. The 205 axles aren't 2 parts, you cannot in any way use an st205 axle in the e153 tranny. You need to use outers from an st185 or from some camry (I can't remember the years) C full length to me is the entire length. more axle pics here -------------------- |
