getting rid of the old crud.... Valve covers and Tools, almost anything This applies for 6gc and all cars..
Going from this  to this in 30 mins... with minimal effort..  How? Finally found something worth doing as it dissolves the caked grime. Go to sams club and get a gallon of this. Proforce Heavy duty degreaser...  http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product....roductId=103502 http://img2.prosperent.com/images/250x250/...249300979_A.jpg mix with water al GUSTO. Let it seat for 15 min, and use a red scotch brite... May need to repeat if needed... use additional tools if desired (toothbrush) -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... trust me, water based cleaning solution works. I used the purple degreaser and the one they sell at HF, its way better than pinesol or even simple green, simple green sucks on highly greased stuff.
