im working on making a housing that will cover the back of the fog lamps since it is so low to the ground i want the lights to be functional yet durable in the rain and on rocky roads such as construction sights. any ideas will b help im open to all comments. thanks guys

I was just looking at a set of HID fogs on a Celica this weekend. It looks like what you have to do is cut a hole in the back of the housing for the wires then seal it up with some silicone.

I was just looking at a set of HID fogs on a Celica this weekend. It looks like what you have to do is cut a hole in the back of the housing for the wires then seal it up with some silicone. ^Was that my car? ![]() I've done it. The only downside to this is that if the bulbs go out, I'll need to pull off all the sealant and lay down a fresh patch. Basically, I drilled a hole in the housing where the OEM cable came through. The hole was just barely big enough to get the HID connectors through, then I plugged it all back up with some RTV. I've had them on since December and haven't had a problem with them. -------------------- ~bloodMoney
