Well since I was eager to get my car sponsored I rushed in and signed up an application on carsponsors.com. Its basically an agency that looks for car sponsorships and creates a portfolio of your car to be viewed by companies. The middle man. They charge a $99 fee in which an agent will take care of all your needs for the year sponsorship contract that you will eventually sign. I've heard good and bad about this type of sponsorship. The fact of the matter, is that it is an legit sponsor. YOu just have to go through all the requirements in order to start receiving car audio, paint job or performance parts. The products that are offered aren't 100% free but are about 50-75% cheaper than public price. I thought you had to participate in so many car shows in order to get the discounted products but now I'm getting this email. I haven't signed any contracts yet... Communication with the company has been more then helpful. They get an 100% rating on customer service. biggrin.gif

Hi,

Thank you for emailing us. I am not sure as to why you want to cancel
but I really would like to see you stay on as a member so I would like
to offer you a special deal to stay aboard. I will refund 100% of your
application fee and still give you free access to carsponsors.com for
1 year and also give you a free membership to sponsorbuzz.com ($59
value). You can access your free sponsorbuzz account by entering CSVIP
as your code.

Also, I will give you a $100 credit sponsorship that you can use to
purchase any product from our sponsors. Here's the best part. You
don't even have to go to any car shows. All I want you to do is
promote one of our sponsors on the internet before receiving your
product. Once you do that then we can move on to the next sponsorship.
And to make this easy, don't worry about following the steps online,
just communicate directly with me.

Let me ask you, what product interests you the most? Log into your
account and find a sponsor. Look at different products and be sure to
make sure the one you pick is compatible with your vehicle. My
recommendation is to start with gauges from Glowshift or get the
Carbon Fiber Vinyl from CarbonFiberVinyl.com. Let me know.
Just please email be back "approved" and I will process the refund.

Again, I appreciate your interest and I will help you get the

sponsorships you deserve.

Thanks, Elizabeth
Customer Service Manager

read the fine print on any sponsership contract. A friend of mine was sponsered for drifting in his AE86 by a company up here called Raceworld.ca They painted his car, bought him new seats, swapped a 4AGZE into his car, new tranny, bully clutch, caged his car, new rims, etc. Anyways, one of the sponsers he had was sparco..so they wanted to throw a sparco shift knob in his car, he hated the feel of it, so he wanted to throw his home made ball knob on instead, they revoked his sponsership, and when they did....engine got taken out, wheels got taken off, seats out, tranny out, pretty much anything they put in, got taken out. He was essntialy left with a shell, empty rear axel housing.

Make sure you read all the details or it will bite you in the ass.
