OK My son and I put a remaned cylinder head on his 95 vert and now we have a oil leak from what looks like its coming from the gasket. Is it possible to retighten head bolts to see if it stops the leak and do the cams have to come out to get to the bolts??? thanx in advance. I HATE OIL LEAKS

Sometimes the leak can come from a line or valve cover and streak down to the bottom of the head. From there it would travel around the headgasket making it look like its coming from there. Just remember if it is leaking from between the head and block then you have bigger issues and should stop driving it.
