I am about to buy rims and i was wondering what offset i should go with. the wheels i was looking at are 18X7.5 and i wanted to know what offset would keep the wheel from sticking out the rest of my car? the tires are gonna be 215/35R18
thanks -Stew |

so, offset is the thickness of the rim at the poin where the lugs get put on?
my current rims are 40 offset and im trying to see what kind of spacers i could get for them. if i get 5mm spacers then my offset would change to 35mm, right? is that the maximum offset i can have, and still have enough of the bolt left to make sure the nuts are on safely? i know i can get larger spacers that come with their own bolts, but i feel a little uneasy about something that i have bolt on to my car, and then the wheel bolts on to that. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
