Hey all....I'm changing the clutch in my daughters 99 GT and the drivers side axle won't come out (I pry'ed and pry'ed). Is there a good removal method without damaging the CV boot?. Also, does the passenger side driveshaft have to come out or will it slip out with the transmission is pulled away

yeah that one is a PITA! what you have to do is have one person holding the axle as straight as possible and turn it while another person uses a prybar. find the sweet spot where you can get leverage between the trans and the CV casing. with the other person turning the axle you will find the sweet spot and it will poop out.
