Hey guys.....i know i can count on 6GC for answers.

I just bought a 94 Celica and everything was stock. I plan on getting 17" rims and probably lowering the car. As for how much....not too sure since a kit is going on and dont know how much clearance there is and i have a steep driveway frown.gif

My question is, what is the best setup for ride quality in 17's. Should i use coilovers or springs and would i need to replace shocks/struts for better ones.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys

you can run 2 sizes: 215-40-17 or 215-45-17.
the 40-series will be the same height as your factory tire. so the acceleration will be the same, but with a rougher ride. they may also cost about 5-10 bucks more each.
the 45-series(like mine) will be quiter, and smoother. but it is about a half inch taller. so it may throw your speedometer off a bit, your acceleration too but you may never notice it. see my profile, i have a 1-inch drop with factory struts. hope this helps.
