Hi!

BTW excuse my english, its not that good.

I bought a K&N open air filter and trying to install it, i have a 1997 celica 1.8.

When I see at the OEM air intake tube a see this thing attached to it, to the side towards the driver if you know what i mean.
I dont know the name of it, its like a square and you can unscrew it it looks like. Maybe a sensor?

But my point is, on my new air intake tube, it doesnt have the hole to attach that thing. It only has the hole for the air temp sensor hole...

So what do I do with the thing if I innstall my new filter? Cant just let it hang there...

Thanks, and I hope you understand something of what I wrote..

Just a little black box under the intake tube? That's just a resonator to silence any intake noise. It isn't important. As long as you get the intake sensor in, you'll be good. smile.gif
