What would be the best shell to start a drift car?

toyota, the ae86 but is this just because its a legend?

not a supra, cant afford one. too expensive. and the older ones are too heavy.

also not a convertible. for obvious reasons.

sorry but Supra MK II is the lightest of the Supras

MK II
Curb weight 1,361 kg (3,000 lb

MK III
1,537 kg (3,389 lb) (manual)
1,595 kg (3,516 lb) (automatic)

MK IV
1,460 kg (3,219 lb) (non-turbo)
1,550 kg (3,417 lb) {turbo}

that said, the very best car to start drifitng is the cheapest one you can get, try to find one that someone elses has gotten somewhat ready for drifitng for very cheap, chances are this car wont survive the learning process ( assuming you take this serious ) so just find something cheap to learn on, then you can look around for whatever you would love drift on.

if I was to do it, I would focus on an MK II, P type, they come with LSD, 5mge with around 180 which is enough power to get the tires lose but not too much to become an issue with a beginner, and if for some miracle I dont crash the car or dont bend the chassis banging it on every wall lol, a 2jz fits right in.
