I need to get advice on putting headers on my 95 GT. Never done this before, but guessing that it is a matter of just removing the old exhaust manifold , and reconnecting the new header up to the exhaust, and bolting it back in. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I can't drop a lot of cash, but would like to get the best quality I can for the money. Any suggestions on brand, and who to order from would really help too. Also need to know if I need to do a lot of work under the car, or can most be done right under the hood. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I think it'll sound better with more time. I noticed the gains in the upper end especially going from 60-75 for example. Also, I did have a high flow cat, perf. resonator, and perf. exhaust with mine at that time so it may have been a little different from your experience. Did you wrap your headers yet? They get extremely hot.
