  makes a great improvement, wow, so good that im tossing the box out. I mean is not a lot ob bass, but i just grew out the subs... -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL

my whole system is alpine now, but im running the blue boxed speakers,type s, i need the red boxed ones, type r.
I used a sub to give it a little more power. but this little pre amp gives me the juice ans clarity i need. By no way its going to replace a sub. Just happens I like the way this soounds better. If you look closely i have the center speaker from alpine too under my stereo. If you are a bass guy, like boom, boom, boom, this is not the way to go. But It got to the point that i felt embarrassed of a 12 inch sub box in the trunk, and having no trunk space. now, i dont need it anymore... for 125, you cannot ask for more. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years...
