i already have HIDs installed on my car for high beam and low beam.
im about to install my jdm projectors and clear highs. i know high beams have the same bulb, so thats not the problem. but with the low beam projectors, can i just buy a H7 HID replacement bulb and hook it up to my current ballast or do i have to buy another HID kit for the H7 bulb and then convert my harness from 9006 to h7? -------------------- For Sale:OEM tail lights - make offer

I'd be less worried about the HID kit and more worried about the LHD conversion for the projectors.
To answer your question, you should be able to replace the bulbs. The ballast isn't specific to the bulbs.
