 oil question |

So I feel my car is burning oil a bit too quickly, is there anything I can do to stop this? I use Mobil1 10W-30 and now with Purpolator pure1 oil filter and I've put a little extra oil in there (how much should a 7afe take anyway?) Should I up the oil to a thicker grade? Also the mornings are getting colder and winter is coming so should I just stick with 10W-30?

in my opinion fully synthetic oil is best and mobil1 is among the best. you possibly need an engine flush.
sorry what u mean by burning oil? u need to top up frequently? if thats the case then u have to check if your exhaust is releasing much more white smoke. if yes, then may be the rings are worn. |
