Amp and wires, What amp wattage and wire gauge

magik06 View Member Profile Enthusiast Joined Nov 20, '02 Currently Offline Reputation: 0 (0%)	I have Two ten inch Jl audio subs. I was wondering what size wire guage do i need and how many watts for my amp. I currently have a 500watt amp but i dont think its really enough to make the subs hit

Guest_Matthew_* Guest_Matthew_* View Member Profile	it'll cost less to wire the car in 4 guage or 2 guage now, instead of paying for something smaller now and then paying for something bigger later. like audiofreak said if it's really 500 rms it should be fine. check the specs. matt
