HEy guys i wanna lower my car prolly an inch and a half-2 inches with a coilover kit. Does anyone here have the Tein kit? I know Tein is a pretty good company but their coilovers were like $1350 for our celica! Whats the best combo of ride comfort, performance, and value?

you can't lower your car 2 1/2 inchs and have a comfortable ride. thats the bottom line. I have Ground Controls and Koni's and it is very stiff even on the softest setting. I suspect Teins would be better, but like K2 said its not really worth it unless your serious about road racing or auto-x.
if you want it to be comfortable while still sporty get yourself some Sportline springs, and Koni shocks. its not 2 1/2 inchs, but it'll still look good, I promise ![]() |
