things needed: electric sander,1can of brake cleaner, 2 cans of black spray paint(gloss),1 can of clear coat (gloss)
1) took off hubcaps and wheels off the car. 2) cleaned wheel with soap and water than dryed completely 3) sanded all rust and exisiting paint off of the steelie as much as i could 4) used brake cleaner to get the rest of the dirt off the wheel! 5) layed a table cloth over wheel outlined the outer part of the wheel with sharpie, cut a hole with scissors (so no paint will get on the tire itself) 6) began painting(let dry for 20 mins than do one more coat of paint) 7) waited atleast 20 mins before clear coating the wheel 8) repeat process for each wheeel * just a fun little project, that IMO came out very good HERE ARE THE RESULTS ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
