No, the reason we are where we are is because of people doing what this guy did, and getting away with it.
If it was my dad, I'd tell him he was a moron and deserved everything he got. It was a hate crime, it was personal property damage, it was all of the above and there's no excuse for it. The only reason he apologized was because he got his a$$ beat. Going around spray painting cars because you're a retired navy vet and just got laid off? Give me a break, I'm sorry he doesn't have a job, but that gives him ZERO right to go around doing what he did. EDIT: And do as to others...well, if I went around spray painting cars, I would hope someone would come and knock some sense into me...
