I'll be honest. I probably would have done the same thing... I don't agree with it, but my instinct would kick in. When my car was broken into, I scared the **** out my two friends. They had never seen me so angry... You damage something I love and I'll kick your ass.

However, and I know this is contradicting myself, I don't agree in videotaping and humiliating someone. There is no honor in that, nor do you gain any respect. He should have just kicked the guys ass, held him there until the cops arrived and then sued.

The vet was a racist asshole who had anger against Mitsubishi for manufacturing bombers (and the Japanese in general, stated by his "gook" comment) and proceeded to express his anger in hate crimes. This is why I hate white people. Although there are racists in every culture, white people decide to show it openly thinking they are untouchable. This white American mentality is what makes me want to live in another country. There is no longer any respect for each other, no honor, no pride... people just hate on others and discriminate.

The old guy got what he "deserved" but at the same time... I don't know if he really deserved it. It's possible that he's mentally unstable from the war, or maybe he really is an asshole. I wish the owner of the Evo got a before video showing the alleged vandal "spitting on him and calling him a gook" after being caught spraying the victims car.
