Hey guys, I just wanted to hear what people think would be the best Transmission for a RWD conversion with the 3SGTE. I know it would deal with a good amount of body work, but that aside, what bolts up to the 3s, and how would you consider mounting the engine in the car?

I was think the Altezza. Trans. Or couldn't you just lock diff on the gt4 transfer an pull the front shafts? that would be the second easiest way of doing it. But realistically its equally as easy as getting a cnc shop to build you an adapter plate to convert any transmission to fit the 3sgte. That also gives you a bonus of unlimited tranmission selection and possible 8 gear ratios. =) |
