My Toyota trans has a bar in the middle of the axle hub on the passenger side what's that for?

It looked the the inside of a e153 with LSD where if you look through the the holes for the input shafts
An I don't remember seeing that same bar on my s54 so that's what's throwing us off As far as I could tell the car look all original So the actual question -------------------- 95 gt coupe, v6 swap weekend toy
