I bought a "plug-n-play" tach from FORGMANN for the BEAMS swap, but it's all wrong. When I turn the ignition to ACC, it tells me the car is revving at 3k. When I crank it up and drive, it seems to add rpm's at the right rate... They just start at 3k. So I'm idling around 4k. How do I fix it? I tried searching and searching, but I'm running out of ideas. Thanks guys!

I had this issue with my stock tach after removing the needle (lesson learned). That little peg the needle rests on is there for a reason lol. My fix was pulling the needle, turning the key to ACC, then putting the needle back on at the zero position. I doubt this is your issue tho...
