After some driving on a warm (not really hot - winter!) day and stopping for a short time -
when restarted, the idle is weak, fluctuates and the engine frequently dies. No problems starting a cooled down or cold engine, or any other problems. Restarting and giving a little gas in this situation fixes it. I heard about the heat soak, but it never happened before in similar conditions. The only difference - after many years of using Chevron exclusively, recently switched to Shell gas. Any ideas? Thanks! |

i wouldnt imagine gas is the issue. i use shell almost exclusively.
