Hey guys,
Got the BGB and all the tools to do the head gasket replacement. Just wondering what you guys think the best gasket set to buy would be, or do i just need the mls head gasket? And should i go OEM or some other brand from local parts store?? Lastly, i haven't done a HG before so any tips? Cheers, Rece |

First and only time i've done this was on a honda. best advice I can give you is have patience. if you even start to get frustrated take a break and come back to it later. Read the instructions for removal in your BGB over and over before you start until you feel comfortable.
Also, since you are taking off the head you may want to look into replacing other things like your timing belt/water pump. You may also want to look into getting a gasket set rather than just the gasket for the head. Assuming you will be taking the head to a machine shop? -------------------- ![]() |
